On Thursday we had a special visit from the Lincoln reptile and pet centre. We had so much fun singing Baa Baa Black Sheep with Romeo the Parrot and meeting MR T’s ( the giant tortoise ( MR T) and his best friend the bearded dragon who likes to ride on his shell. Barney the owl was softer than we thought and the Meerkats enjoyed getting meal worms out of their balls. Sid the snake liked lots of strokes and cuddles. We found out lots of facts about how to look after the animals, where they live and what they like to eat. It was a great experience.

Wonderful water.

We are so lucky. We have a brand new water wall for our outside area. It has been so much fun exploring how water moves and sounds on the water wall. We have also been having lots of fun in the rain because we have new, all in one, water suits to wear so that we can play what ever the weather!

Trip to the church.

We went to visit St Michael’s church in Waddington village. We had lots of helpful parents that helped us to walk over. They also helped us write our own prayers, design stained glass windows, find religious artefacts in the church and do observational drawings. It was so much fun.

Amazing Africa.

We have been looking at the story ‘Handa’s surprise’ and thinking about how people live, eat and dress in Africa. We had a special visitor come in and teach us some african dances, songs and stories. We even got to dress up as Zulu warriors and african princesses.
